Goad to Present at ISGP Spring 2010 Workshop

GOAD COMPANY President and CEO Curtis Goad is one of the featured speakers in Williamsburg, Iowa on May 11th at the semi-annual compliance workshop for Iowa metal finishers and coaters.

GOAD'S presentation is entitled, "Tanks and Linings: Is Conventional Wisdom Putting Your Company At Risk?" He will provide a brief summary of the current state of containment technology, complete with a discussion of the conventional wisdom and unfortunate risks that persist in industry and finally offer some unique, 21st century approaches for reliable, longer-lasting process vessels.

Joining him during this one-day event is Mike Quandahl of DMP Corporation who will be speaking on the timely topic of wastewater treatment and water reuse technologies. And in keeping with the goal of these compliance assistance workshops, two representatives from the State of Iowa will be talking on the complicated aspects of air emission ruless and air quality regulations.

The Iowa Strategic Goals Program (ISGP), in partnership with the U.S. EPA Region 7, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Waste Reduction Center, has put on seven previous compliance workshops that address the various environmental issues facing the business of metal finishing and coating.
