Bill Corrigan, candidate for St. Louis County Executive, spoke at the May 12th meeting of the St. Louis Branch of National Association For Surface Finishing. The special dinner meeting, hosted and arranged by local NASF Board of Managers' member Curtis Goad of GOAD COMPANY, was held at Greenbriar Hills Country Club in Kirkwood Missouri.
Mr. Corrigan, a republican candidate for the top county post, spoke to the roughly 24 business owners/operators in attendance on a variety of local political topics and had a brief Q&A. Mr. Corrigan presented a number of key ideas to the attendees from his political platform but the highlight of what he spoke about concerned the importance of bringing the two major governmental entities in the St. Louis area, St. Louis County and the City of St. Louis, into a much closer working relationship if the region was going to survive and thrive.
The National Association For Surface Finishing (NASF) is a world-wide organization of businesses in the surface finishing industry with branches in many major metropolitan areas. More information on the NASF can be found at www.nasf.org
